The opportunity
As a HR Business Partner, you will strategically partner with business leaders and their teams in our corporate and business services function and play an essential role in helping to build organisation and people capability and shape and implement effective people strategies and activities.
You will be a member of the Corporate & Business Services HR business partnering team and will work closely with our global HR Centres of Excellence (COEs) and People Success Organisation (PSO). In addition to general HRBP responsibilities, key focus areas for this role will be on career and talent growth, DE&I, engagement & communication, employee relations and change management.
The position provides an exciting opportunity for an experienced HRBP with a coaching mindset, strong expertise in change management and a passion for employee experience to work in a global HR organisation to join us on an permanent basis.
- Support the delivery of both business unit and Group HR priorities, including wellbeing, DE&I, employee engagement and recognition, talent management and performance management.
- Act as a key change agent to further embed the Glanbia HR Operating model, role modelling our new ways of working and coaching people leaders and employees.
- Use workforce data and apply analytical skills to bring workforce insights and recommendations. Analyse and interpret reporting dashboards to help guide decision making and provide proactive HR solutions.
- Contribute strongly to building a high performance culture, working closely with line managers to ensure that all employees have clear performance goals and receive the required support to optimise their performance. Support the introduction of the Continuous Conversations framework.
- Support managers in the development of talent and succession management plans for their teams, including the creation of career development and learning plans.
- Manage recruitment, selection and placement activities for assigned areas in line with business needs, partnering with the Talent Acquisition CoE to deliver excellent candidate experience and talent selection outcomes.
- Partner with the PSO team to ensure delivery of end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, query resolution and reporting.
- Partner on employee relations issues and provide guidance and advice to managers and employees in line with Group HR policies, relevant legislation and best practice.
- Contribute to the development, review and implementation of HR policies, procedures and processes in line with emerging business needs in the context of the future workplace and best practice and new legislation.
The skills you will bring to the team
- Strong previous experience gained as a HRBP in a progressive commercial or professional services environment, ideally with experience working with Group/Corporate functions such as IT and Finance.
- Successful track record of supporting and facilitating the day-to-day HR needs of a diverse population: employee relations, performance management, organizational development, coaching and compensation and benefits.
- Passion for, and bring experience and thinking in, embedding HR programmes such as DE&I, employee engagement and talent development.
- Good experience of managing complex employee relations issues and knowledge of employment law with experience of managing union relations desirable.
- Understanding and experience of operating in a global matrix environment desirable, e.g., working with COEs and HR Shared Services.
- Data savvy with experience of preparing management reporting and dashboards and summary insights.
- Familiar with SuccessFactors HCM platform will be an asset for this role (or equivalent platform)
