The opportunity where you will make an impact:


We are currently seeking a disruptive Head of Amazon to own, lead and develop the Amazon relationship – someone who is hungry to accelerate our presence in the platform and leverage all retail and marketing opportunities. On top of this, in this role you will have 1 direct report – Amazon UK Manager – and as line manager and a leader in our organization, you will be expected to retain the very best people and provide them with opportunities to grow in a fast paced environment.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for leading the planning, sales budget, trade & search spend execution
  • Develop and design of Amazon EU strategy  
  • Take full P&L accountability from budgeting phase through to financial delivery
  • Partner with brand owners & outside strategic partners to leverage all marketing opportunities on Amazon
  • Actively participate in scheduled internal weekly and annual sales meetings, preparing in advance to share relevant and beneficial information
  • Lead joint business negotiations for entire Amazon EU market
  • Share insights and learnings with the UK commercial and marketing teams to build up our internal digital muscle   
  • Preparation of activity plans with Amazon UK manager and marketing in line with strategic priorities for the region
  • Be the voice of Amazon within the GPN business to ensure team is kept well-informed of the latest digital sector developments and opportunities




What you will bring to GPN:


    • Minimum of 4 Years Amazon Experience
    • Proven track record of delivering planned objectives, penetrating senior levels of Amazon and developing talent for the organization
    • Examples in managing & influencing key stakeholders across different functions to get to desired outcome
    • Digital Marketing Experience on or off Amazon
    • Proven track record of successful Amazon EU negotiations
    • Strategic thinker; creative problem solver able to turn strategy into action
    • Strong, demonstrated track record of attaining tough and demanding goals
    • Experience leading, managing and collaborating with Broker Partners to deliver results
    • Analytical horsepower focused on creating, analysing & activating key insights
    • Deep understanding of Amazon search and ability to apply
