Glanbia Ireland is seeking to extend its international footprint across consumer brands into the US market with a new range of dairy products under the Truly Grass Fed brand. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic senior Marketer to join our US based “start-up” team on the ground at a very exciting juncture on Glanbia Ireland’s international growth journey.


Reporting to the Head of Truly Grass Fed in Ireland, you will be based in Chicago but working closely with the US and Ireland team to define and execute our marketing strategy in North America.


Key Responsibilities


  • Development of 3 year marketing strategy to support Glanbia Ireland business goals in North America
  • Create and implement KPIs, hitting annual Brand Plan for Truly Grass Fed in North America including all core elements of the marketing mix: Social, Media, PR and Advocacy, POS and Merchandising, Sampling and Production of core assets.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams in Ireland including Digital, R&D and Sales to create robust, business-driving campaigns for core activations and new product launches
  • Build deliverable briefs for creative execution and develop effective and collaborative agency relationships
  • Develop promotional programs for in store activation
  • Communicate strategies and brand positioning to our exclusive US based distributor team and to motivate their “on the ground sales force”
  • Management of marketing requirements with our exclusive US based distributor.  This included key day-to-day relationship with Glanbia Foods Ireland’s marketing team on marketing deliverables including print insertions, POS materials, sampling kits and paperwork for all events and initiatives
  • Tradeshow management
    • Event design
    • Tradeshow Communications
  • Work with Ireland based marketing innovation team and R&D to develop NPD strategy for both Butter and Cheese in US
  • Manage PR and Social Strategy for TGF
    • Working with agency and influencers as required
    • Overseeing the delivery of Social content and infrastructure


Role Requirements

  • Minimum third level qualification in business or marketing. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a brand marketing role
  • Experience in food or drinks industry is a must
  • Ability and confidence to interact with senior management across a variety of functions and organisations.
  • Results oriented and KPI driven.
