EMEA revenue for 2017 was circa 25% of total GPN revenue and we have a clear growth ambition to achieve $500m revenue by 2022. This growth will come from a mix of organic sales growth and expansion of market presence within specific geographies and acquisition. With this growth rate comes significant and rapid change, both organizationally and strategically. 

 

Directly linked to this growth is our manufacturing plant in Middlesbrough, were we are now seekign to recurit a Graduate Assistant Planner to join the team:

 

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with and support all Planning Functions to ensure EMEA supply and availability objectives are met.
  • Ensure production orders are fully processed in SAP and correctly filed as per the agreed site procedure.
  • Review and correct any SAP scanning issues on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
  • Daily Shortage Report review to identify short term requirements, including call off from 3PL and regular liaison with Warehouse and SQA functions to ensure availability of materials for planned production.
  • Daily review of materials delivered to and stored at 3PL which require quality testing, and efficient call off to site to minimise delays to the expected release dates.
  • Weekly Coverage Report review to identify any materials which pose a risk to production due to potential stock discrepancies.
  • Run and circulate a weekly order confirmation update to all suppliers, and update SAP as appropriate. Manage Order Confirmation Mail Box in line with daily changes.
  • Circulate a daily delivery due list to Warehouse.
  • Investigate and clear invoice queries.

 

Skills & experience:

  • Qualification in supply chain or similar
  • Previous experience in a fast paced environment, ideally a planning/supply chain based role would be an advantage
  • Previous experience working with SAP and / or JDA would also be an advantage.
  • Strong numeracy skills along with ability to work under pressure, with multiple challenges and the need to balance conflicting business requirements
  • Be flexible and be able to work as part of a team.
  • Be computer literate (Excel, Word and E-Mail etc.).
  • Possess an excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Strong time management and organization skills are essential.
