Glanbia Performance Nutrition is one of the World's leading sports and specialist Nutrition Companies developing and manufacturing a range of nutritional bars, beverages and ready to mix drinks. The Inventory Controller will be responsible for ensuring that all stock is reconciled and accounted for on a day to day basis. The scope covers our B2B & B2C operations at all of our 3PL centres within Europe. He/she will maintain robust stock management processes across all sites and retain ownership for all stock & cycle counting activities covering finished goods, materials, ingredients, POS & merchandising. Inventory Administrator will capture and investigate all stock adjustments on a week by week basis as well as supporting the business in rolling out supply-chain projects.
 

The opportunity where you will make an impact:
 

  • Maintain a robust inventory management process across all designated 3PL sites.
  • Establish and maintain effective controls to ensure daily stock reconciliations are completed on time and in full.
  • Coordinate and lead all cycle counting activities in accordance with agreed schedules.
  • Capture, investigate and report all stock discrepancies on a weekly basis
  • Manage the aged stock process in collaboration with the Commercial Teams to ensure minimum write off's
  • Support the business in the management and roll-out of network-wide supply chain projects
  • Proactively maintain daily / weekly / monthly KPI's to track performance & accuracy levels on inventory management and distribution across all sites.
  • Rigorous processes and procedures developed & established at all sites.
  • Excellent working relationships with 3PLs in multiple locations established
  • Full suite of KPIs in place to track network performance.
  • Stock adjustments at minimum levels (€)
  • Attention to detail
  • Support in the effective cost management of distribution flows, where applicable


 

What you will bring to GPN:
 

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative role or similar inventory / supply chain management role
  • Working knowledge of SAP & 3PL warehouse management systems - not essential
  • Excellent verbal and written communication + analytical skills
  • Previous experience in SKU set-up and / or new product development a plus
  • Knowledge of quality & Hygiene standards within a warehousing environment
  • Ability to work on own initiative and prioritization of key tasks
  • Supply chain / distribution / project management experience desirable, not essential
  • Capable of developing strong internal / external working relationships.
  • Strong literacy, communication and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office packages and in particular Excel
