Assistant Manager- E Commerce

Job Summary:

The Assistant Ecommerce Manager – India is responsible for the sales and online activations contributing to the growth of Ecommerce accounts in India. Working closely with the Ecommerce Manager this role will work with Ecommerce partners and its’ sellers to build and execute marketing initiatives and consumer awareness campaigns expanding GPN brands’ footprint, store format whilst optimizing assortment and stock plan, and maximizing overall profitability and acquiring first hand consumer insights. The role will also include New Business Development for Glanbia Performance Nutrition brands Optimum Nutrition, BSN and Isopure through our authorized importer(s) in India.

 

Responsibilities:

  • New Business Development for 3 brands – ON, BSN & ISOPURE
  • Content management (text / videos / blogs) on all portals
  • Product cataloguing & joint social media campaigns on our brand pages
  • Focus on range expansion with standardized product details
  • Improve SEO/SEM for all brands and track ranking of all products by throwing traffic on website
  • Track competitor activity in online and report weekly
  • Execute and Monitor effective roll-outs of consumer activations and share weekly reports to track spends across - promos like – real estate investments,  GWPs,  Exclusive launches (NPD)
  • Coordinate with marketing  for all trade and consumer marketing promotional items to execute on the portals
  • Propose and develop retailing solutions to maximize marketing and sales performance  
  • Spearhead growth of the Ecommerce business by implementing new initiatives; organize customer acquisition, loyalty and retention campaigns.
  • Identify new ideas and practices to increase site traffic, thereby increasing the potential opportunity for increased product sales
  • Co-ordinate the logistics for stocks / inventory / gifts with purchase / product bundling between the Importer and sellers for effective operations
  • Monitor price beat against official and un-authorized sellers on portals

  • Skills in driving business development and category penetration
  • Knowledge of online ecommerce platforms in India
  • Initiative, accountability, cooperative and efficient
  • Persistence and resilience in the pursuit of objectives, willing to take new challenges and resolve issues
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with sellers and distributors
  • Knowledge of trade marketing and brand activation preferably with an international brand focus
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.

     

    Education/Experience:

  • MBA graduate with 0-2 years’ experience in sales/marketing or ecommerce industry
