The Position                                         

AP/AR Specialist will handle all Vendor bills/expense report, new Vendor/Customer setup, collections, customer disputes and to assist Deduction Team in AR inquiries.

This position is located at the Amazing Grass home office in Newport Beach, CA.

 

AP/AR Specialist will report directly to Accounting Manager.

 

Major Responsibilities

AP/AR Specialist’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Process Vendor bills and Employee expense reports.
  • Follow the company process and procedure to ensure AP is coded correctly and on time with full backups.
  • Coordinator payments and issue some manual checks.
  • Setup new Vendors and Customers
  • Assist Deduction Team in getting backups from customers and issuing credit memo.
  • Validate and dispute customer’s discrepancies in pricing, shipment shortage and customer penalty.
  • Maintain customer’s AR balance to current.
  • Review on Customer Credit limits, proactively manage credit holds, and communicate effectively with Customer Service, Sales team and Customer
  • All other duties as assigned

In addition, the ideal candidate must have strong communication and analytical skills. Excellent organization, verbal and written communication skills, along with positive attitude are required. Must have the ability to maintain a pleasant and professional demeanor at all times. Must be skilled in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.

 

Essential Qualifications

 

  • 2 years experiences in AP/AR
  • BA/BS preferred but not required
  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to tactfully communicate with customers and internal team to resolve disputes
  • Must be able to work in a fast pace environment, and adapt to changes in the company
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • The candidate must be skilled in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
