The Position

 

The Digital Marketing & Ecommerce Manager is responsible for building and strengthening Amazing Grass’ connection with passionate consumers via our digital landscape and ensure full digital share of voice is met across web, SEO/SEM, Ecrm, paid search, paid social, display advertising campaigns and mobile activations.  Additionally, this position will be responsible for developing digital strategies to increase consumer engagement, brand awareness and conversion to optimize ecommerce and retail sales growth. The Digital Marketing & Ecommerce Manager should have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and be able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution. This position will collaborate with many persons in the company including retail marketing, innovation, sales, social/influencer in translating and supporting key company initiatives and campaigns via digital tactics.

 

This position will be based in Amazing Grass’ offices in Newport Beach, CA.

 

The Digital Marketing & Ecommerce Manager reports directly to the VP of Marketing.

 

Major Responsibilities:

 

  • Strategy and Management:
    • Plan and execute all web, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, display advertising and paid search/social campaigns
    • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against established goals (ROI and KPIs)
    • Identify trends and insights and optimize spend and performance accordingly
    • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
    • Collaborate with internal teams to plan, translate and integrate broader company objectives and key marketing initiatives/campaigns and retail programs into digital efforts
    • Manage agencies and other external resources were appropriate
    • Develop website traffic plan and create goals and benchmarks
    • Manage and optimize brands’ presence on all e-tailer websites to ensure consistent brand representation, communications and aesthetics
    • Optimize website and other owned channels for SEO and conversion to ecommerce
    • Generate monthly reports on digital performance
    • Develop and implement SEO and PPC Strategies
    • Develop and manage link building strategies and content marketing strategies across blog and ecrm in collaboration with Marketing communications and Community specialist.
    • Innovate and present new marketing platforms and strategies
    • Develop mobile strategy and plan
    • Keep abreast of new web technologies and digital marketing trends; implement where appropriate

 

  • Online Content and Promotions
    • Develop, distribute & maintain online content across web, ecrm, blogs
    • Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop promotional content (images, product descriptions, copy)
    • Monitor and respond to ratings and reviews and consumer Q&A
    • Collaborates with internal team and external partners to develop big ideas, concepts and promotions and translate larger marketing initiatives in the digital and owned space.

 

  • Email Marketing Campaigns
    • Work cross-functionally and with external partners to plan, manage and execute email campaigns. 
    • Report on results and provide insights and recommendations
    • Set KPIs for Open rates, CT rates, CTTO rates and conversion rates
    • Identify lead capture tactics and strategies to grow database

 

  • Other duties as assigned in support of Amazing Grass’ digital universe and efforts across paid, owned, and earned channels
     

Essential Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field with at least 3 years of experience in digital, eCommerce, or social marketing
  • Strong eye for creative sensibilities, visual storytelling, personalized copywriting
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools
  • A digital ‘native’ – live and breathe all things digital with a constant finger on the pulse of latest trends and platforms
  • Experience with website analytics tools (i.e. Google Analytics, Klaviyo, shopify) and ad serving tools
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Demonstrable experience with email marketing, lead generation and SEO
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent written, oral and presentation skills are required
  • Analytic and project management skills
  • Self-starter and able to work independently in a less-structured environment
  • Must be creative and innovative with very high attention to detail
  • Act with sense of passion, energy, enthusiasm and urgency – a positive attitude required
  • Ability to work effectively under deadlines and juggle several assignments simultaneously
  • Proven capability for problem solving and never-ending resourcefulness; fearless
