Director of Strategic Product Management -

 Bioactives and Vitamin Premix (m/f/d)

What will you do?  

• Build and implement product strategies for the global bioactives and vitamin premix product line in EMEA
• Build and rationalize technology platforms for assets, ensuring optimal product mix, SKU management and margin positioning
• Develop go-to-market strategy for the business in tandem with commercial, and marketing
• Analyze and understand competitive landscape, market trends and dynamics to provide recommendations which support growth, manage risk and drive change in the Global Bioactives / Vitamin Premix business, as needed
• Accelerate the sales process through execution of product strategy. Strong product positioning and excellent product stewardship, optimizing / driving revenue and improving net margins, impacting the bottom line
• Lead multi-functional teams to drive projects to commercialization and sales
• Being part of the site leadership team and ensuring strategy understanding across all levels, while reporting into the Global Lead of Strategic Product Management
• Disciplinary responsibility of a small team

What do you need to bring to the job?

• Master degree / MBA in the area of Food sciences/Technology with a strong scientific background
• Very good understanding of business development and product management  
• At least 10 years of experience in the Food / Nutrition Industry
• Strong technical and business skills for management and commercialization of products in the food / nutrition industry
• Very good interpersonal and communication skills and being able to influence people
• Ability to effectively interact with all levels of personnel with the utmost professionalism
• Ability to handle multiple, rapidly-changing and conflicting priorities
• Fluent in both German and English
