The Opportunity 

 

Reporting to the Head of International Talent & Partnership’s, you will be responsible for the management and execution of the Optimum Nutrition branded partnership initiatives as a core element of GPN International Marketing Team.  Manage the executional excellence of the agreed branded partnership deliverables to support the positioning of Optimum Nutrition as a global leader in the sports nutrition category.

 

This role will work exclusively on Optimum Nutrition, with a particular focus on a major F1 multi-market partnership and managing the execution across multiple regions (and stakeholders),in keeping with the strategic mission to enhance Optimum Nutrition’s reputation, reach and consumer recruitment.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Oversee and manage the successful execution of the Optimum Nutrition x McLaren Racing Global Partnership which will include the following:
    • Oversee the successful execution of the agreed deliverables inside the partnership contract
    • Become the central Glanbia contact for all matters pertaining to the partnership – eg. Agency, content logistics, facility access, hospitality and more
    • Run regular meetings with partner marketing team and oversee the progress and management of deliverables
    • Run regular meetings with local Glanbia marketing teams across Int’l, US and Global to manage and monitor plans and drive executional excellence
    • Provide regular status reports and presentations to senior leadership (Int’l, Nth America and Global)
    • With support of wider team manage the content and campaign shoots, as well as the supply of partner produced assets out to local marketing teams for publication/amplification
    • Network and unlock earned media, PR to drive greater awareness and value from the partnership
    • Manage any relevant agency support associated with the partnership
    • In partnership with I&A and brand functions, manage the structure and delivery of all tracking and reports associated with the deal
    • Handle all internal communication requests from internal comms team

 

  • Assist and contribute to the successful execution of the Optimum Nutrition x Spartan Partnership and any future partnerships in 2024 and beyond.

 

 

The Skills you will bring to the team

 

  • Proven experience in creating and managing partnership strategies inside large scale businesses (ideally with experience in F1)
  • Proven experience in delivering large scale brand collaborations and partnerships with commercial return  
  • Proven experience in talent management & activation in large organisations
  • An understanding and passion for the sports nutrition category
  • Excellent networking skills and ability to form relationships quickly  
  • Excellent communication skills with a competency in leading workshops & presenting to large groups
  • Collaborative mindset and demonstrated skills working inside both global and regional brand teams
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and influence in a multi-functional and multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading multi-function project teams to achieve desired outcome/impact.
