Job Summary:

This role will work closely with the Marketing Manager, Greater China to develop key initiatives and brand management, PR, Advertising, events and Key Option Leaders (KOL), athlete management. Responsible for the coordination of marketing programs planned for the Glanbia Performance Nutrition brands, Optimum Nutrition, Isopure and BSN, in China and Greater China ensuring smooth and successful execution. 


  • Managing projects and campaigns to ensure timelines and critical paths are being met
  • Collaborate with Digital Coordinators to incorporate Digital calendars into the Marketing calendar to ensure alignment and organization of campaigns and projects.
  • Day to day management of the approved marketing budget, ensuring campaigns and projects have sufficient resources to be executed and do not exceed set budget.
  • Research and analyses competitor tactics in the market to identify the most suitable strategies for the company's product and branding.
  • Partner with regional sales, route to market and e commerce team to devise key customer activations. 
  • Support the development of advertising material across multiple platforms in line with brand objectives and HQ guidelines.
  • Work with sales and key customers to develop POS solutions, online web banners etc and all sampling material requirements
  • Assistance in planning, execution and tracking of new product launches
  • Collaboratively support the sales and marketing teams to align and execute brand strategies
  • Manage and grow network of influencers (athletes & KOL’s – Key Opinion Leaders) for the purposes of inspiring and supporting consumers in achieving their goals and understanding the products within the portfolio.
  • Manage the distribution of athlete monthly product allocations, athlete gear, coordinating athlete duties in events, sampling & demonstrations in line with budget and objective guidelines.
  • Ensure all product education delivered via athletes is aligned within the guidelines of GPN’s SNS and communication protocols. 


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Ability to work up timelines for projects and ensuring on time delivery
  • Ability to systematically coordinate projects with good sense of priority setting.
  • Is persistent and resilient in the pursuit of objectives, willing to take on new challenges and works to resolve issues
  • Results oriented with high level of initiative.
  • Ability to analyse market trends, internal sales data and work within budget guidelines
  • Digital strategy and planning, Social media and digital marketing operations
  • Mixture of analytical, data-driven decision making and creativity
  • Passion about sports and fitness.




  • Ideally, 6 + years brand management/trade or customer marketing  experience in FMCG/Luxury retail/consumer focused industries
  • Brand positioning, segmentation, retail and trade negotiations experience
  • Trade marketing and merchandising experience
  • Experience managing external agencies
  • Experience in customer/consumer insights
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills
  • Effective communicator, fluent verbal and written in both English and Mandarin
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships
  • Innovative, adaptable and skilled in problem solving.
