Job Summary:

 

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to develop and execute the strategic digital Marketing plan and process which establishes a strong identity and presence for GPN brands online delivering against the overriding marketing and commercial teams KPI's and targets.This role will work closely with the brand marketing team, E-commerce, sales teams and other business units to ensure a customized digital route-to-market approach is deployed to maximize content to commerce conversion of GPN brands.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, CRM, email, social media, branded  flagship stores of trading partners e.g. Tmall/JD
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate user funnels, conversion points and end-to-end user experience across multiple digital touch points
  • Evaluate emerging digital technologies and provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
  • Plan & negotiate placement and price of digital advertising to ensure that GPN is getting the best possible value for your money. i.e. Digital Media planning & buying responsibility
  • Develop the Social Media and associated content strategy and oversee its execution via the supervision of the Social Media Specialist who will has direct functional oversight for all social media platforms including Weibo, Wechat and other targeted social media platforms.
  • Provide a monthly digital content calendar to align with key marketing initiatives. 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  

  • Strong drive for execution and delivering results. An ambitious self-starter with excellent follow-through skills to develop ideas independently and thrive in fast-paced environment is crucial. Demonstrated ability and willingness to roll up sleeves and execute
  • Demonstrated ability to create innovative new digital marketing programs and/or partnerships that generate results 
  • A specialist who is well versed with digital and social media tools and techniques and also someone who can apply marketing thought on these tools to maximize their ROI
  • Passion for metrics and quantitative analysis, and ability to turn analysis into actionable programs
  • Superior verbal and written communications skills with extreme attention-to-detail 

 

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in marketing or business with 4 years+ Senior Digital Marketing Management experience
  • 5+ years of professional work experience in an international company or large digital/media agencies
  • Some work experience in social media marketing
  • Must have a thorough understanding of China’s digital landscape
  • Digital & Media Buying agency management and agency processes experience  necessary
  • Native Chinese speaking with strong verbal and written English communication skills
