The Opportunity
Sales Management
• Build solid connection and maintain good relationship with key Ecommerce platforms.
• Lead and manage Ecommerce partners on JD and other new opportunity channels (e.g. TikTok), tracking key deliverables on sell-in/sell-through/sell-out and inventory/ forecast/ordering etc.
• Work closely with distributors to ensure company sell-in target is achieved, and initiate and develop retailing solutions to maximize sales performance and ensure sell-out performance is achieved.
• Collaborate with brand marketing and trade marketing team to facilitate an integrated business planning and commercial terms for leading the execution with distributors to maximize business growth opportunities.
Sell-out Management & Excellence
• Work with marketing team to develop and execute online business format, fit with overall commercial strategy.
• Drive Distributor’s team on monthly GMV/sell-out target achievement and roll out sales and marketing activities to support this GMV target delivered.
• Drive execution of online commercial activity to assure consistence and harmonization with Ecommerce business, mainly including assortment, pricing, and consumer promotion.
RTM Management
• Support distributors improve RTM efficiency from forecast, ordering, fulfilment and delivery by co-working with functioning Supply Chain and Customer Service team.
• Monthly on-invoice and off-invoice D&A management to deliver targets on both top line net sales value and off-invoice CM% for responsible RTM customers.
• Yearly distributor agreement commercial term negotiation and work with Global Legal team on Agreement terms.
New business model exploration
• Explore the right opportunities in expanding GPN brands’ footprint in new business models for optimized growth and extended sales to larger scope of users.
• Support Commercial team roll out new business initiatives as identified for foundation of 3-5 years business ambition.
The Skills you will bring to the team
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Commerce etc.
• 8-10 years working experience in sales or business development.
• Around 6 years online B2C experience specializing in FMCG consumer goods in China.
• Strong TP or distributor management with business development background implementing key business initiatives.
• Strong sales management and trade marketing (commercialization) knowledge from CPG, retail environments.
• A track record of experience in sales within a food, beverage, nutrition or FMCG sector
• Target focused with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets set
• An entrepreneurial spirit with a strength in spotting opportunities within the market
• Strong relationship building skills, with a track record of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers
• Professional communication skills with the ability to connect with the customer in the most appropriate way
• Strong work ethic with a focus on delivering outstanding results
• A commercial understanding always focused on return on investment
• Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills with a tactical approach to account management and development through to closing deals
• Good common sense and initiative
• Excellent inter-personal and communication skills (both English and Chinese verbal and written)
• Attention to detail and customer care focus.
