Reporting to the VP of Marketing for Asia Pacific and Europe, we are looking for an insights and analytics expert with a strong and comprehensive understanding of consumer and customer insight development, with the ability to influence the creation of brand marketing strategy and effectively lead within this scale and pace of change/business growth. Specifically, we are seeking an experienced thought leader to develop and deliver BIC Insight processes to support equity investment and brand growth strategy. This role has an influential and integral part to play in the growth strategy of the business. Defining a core insight for brands, connecting to consumers will be vital to the delivery of the step change growth that forms a core part of GPN’s vision. 

 

The opportunity where you will make an impact:

  • Insight generation and delivery via bespoke consumer insight & research studies across all GPN brands for the Asia Pacific region particularly the key markets of India, China, Korea, Japan and Australia.
  • Drive consistency and best practices for I&A e.g. innovation testing rigour
  • Management and interpretation of brand health tracker for all brands & markets 
  • Production of ongoing state of the nation including consolidating regional I&A materials/ data   BHT, Share to inform business strategy and country execution plans 
  • Category and consumer knowledge and analysis used for business decisions including market brand entry, innovation launches,
  • Identification of consumer trends to inform channel/ brand/ country strategies and business planning 
  • Management of external suppliers in project delivery and reporting to include regional market & brand leads 
  • Consumer habit database and building compelling story telling toolkit into markets/ brand leads for execution
  •  Driving Use of analytics incl ROI metrics to influence marketing plan decisions
  • Supporting innovation and commercialization for NPD validation and scoping 
  • I&A external ecosystem of vendors selection and management as needed
  • Liaison with Global Insights team and other key stakeholders:  Int’l marketing directors, Global Innovation, I&A global, US I&A team

What you will bring to GPN:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a FMCG consumer insight and analytics role 
  • A passion for health, fitness and building consumer loved brands
  • Strong stakeholder (internal and external) management skills 
  • A “can-do”, roll up your sleeves attitude and a positive mindset
  • Experience of writing and managing qualitative and quantitative research project including consumer questionnaires 
  • Ability to analyse data and feedback in a clear and compelling fashion 
  • Finance and budgetary management experience 
  • Negotiation skills 
  • Strong influencing and communication skills
