Overall Responsibility/ Job Purpose




   Operate in a rapidly expanding, fast moving and complex business,  managing RM supply risk, supporting cost savings initiatives, achieving KPI’s ;


   Collaborate closely with Asian sourcing team and global category team to ensure consistent delivery of products to support GNCH plant running efficiently;


   Ensure an efficient back up for both GNCH & GNLS distribution business; responsible for RM planning , PO releasing , follow up delivery , handling complaints and prepare shipping documents.




Key Tasks and Responsibilities (not restrictive)




  • Collecting , analyze customer sales forecast and monitoring sales forecast accuracy monthly ,  working with sales team on key customers’ annual  forecast ;

  • Input sales forecast in SAP system monthly, to set up reasonable material requirement plan according to customer orders and sales forecast base on assigned categories;

  • Set up reasonable safety stock monthly according to historical consumption , forecast demand changing,  raw material market situation and lead time;

  • Responsible for daily order placing and order tracking activities of the assigned category, ensure raw material supply smoothly , optimizing raw material inventory  and keeping a good inventory turnover;

  • Quick response to production planner on checking RMs availability for every customer order,  work closely with sourcing team on new RMs supply, and work closely with suppliers on missing RMs supply in an efficient way;

  • Ensure an efficient back up for distribution business; place orders for trading business, follow up delivery and prepare shipping documents;

  • Manage supplier relationship, handle raw material non-conformances and returns in an efficient way and follow up corrective action.

  • Work with sourcing team for inventory plan, alternative development plan for the assigned categories according to sales forecast demand and RM market dynamics, to ensure RM supply stable and reduce total purchasing cost.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Objectives will be set yearly in PDM but the below are general guidelines of objectives that are required.


  • Material requirements planning by weekly ;

  • RMs on time delivery tracking;

  • Initiative cost savings tracking ;

  • Month end inventory tracking;




Qualification & Experience Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree – supply chain management  is preferred.

  • A minimum of 3 years of related experience is required.

  • Experience with MRP function , stock management , supply chain

  • A multinational company working experience is preferred.

  • Good interpersonal skills are required.

  • Good Negotiation skills are required.

  • Good written and verbal skills are required.

  • Good analytical ability and problem solving ability.
