The Brand Manager will be responsible for activities that will help ON increase Awareness, Consideration and Conversion through our digital ecosystem, with an organic focus. This position will collaborate closely with the EU marketing team and commercial team to increase digital footprint of “Optimum Nutrition Brand” in Sweden and other Nordic countries to drive higher engagement levels and deliver better shopping experiences.

The opportunity where you will make an impact:

  • Execute day to day community management duties for core market Sweden but also other Nordics markets, responding in a timely fashion to consumer contacts and opportunities for consumer engagement.
  • Responsible for spotting and escalating consumer driven local opportunities for viral amplification (sourced from community engagement e.g., Facebook/IG consumer comments or contacts).
  • Schedule and post organic social content, as agreed at monthly social content reviews.
  • Translation and implementation of all marketing materials for Sweden, Norway and Finland.
  • Ensure customer marketing plan is clear and linked to consumer plan, regularly updated and communicated to central and LT teams.
  • Support the local Commercial Team with the right assets (product details, product pictures, newsletters, banners, etc) to successfully implement online campaigns with main E-Commerce Customers in Sweden and Norway.
  • Work with key local retailers on yearly marketing plans.
  • Work with central marketing to manage GPN Sweden and Norway performance marketing campaigns based on internal Digital KPIs.
  • Share local insights to support performance tracking of local activities, working with the EU DMM to explain trends and optimize campaigns.
  • Implement influencer campaigns within Sweden, to grow influencer base and reach.  Propose ideas for local campaigns and liaise with local influencers where necessary to build relationships and create a positive experience for our influencer partners.  To include management of campaigns: Free seeding, shipment, influencer negotiation and management.
  • Working closely with Brand Manager in Denmark to secure strong plans on our hero brands Optimum Nutrition and Nutramino.

 

 

Key Challenges and Success Measures:

  • Support in market commercial leads to deliver commercial KPIs.
  • Increase community management presence and report back insights and learnings.
  • Support and report back on market test and learn activities with customers.
  • Increase customer intimacy and promotional structure.
  • Recommend, plan and execute premia activities to promote our premium brand values without using price – communicate needs clearly to EU team to ensure resources needed are provided.
  • Collaborate closely with EU marketing team to ensure all activities in market are part of an aligned full funnel approach, maximizing reach and conversion of consumers.
  • Represent the consumer in local customer presentations, using consumer insights to recommend and agree customer marketing proposals.
  • Customer marketing budget management.

 

 

What you will bring to GPN:

  • Strongly collaborative, able to influence and work within a matrix business with centralized stakeholders.
  • Digital native who has experience with social media and an intuitive understanding of the digital landscape.
  • Some experience working with agencies to implement a full digital ecosystem including community management, social media; content management etc. would be a benefit.
  • Excellence in project management and diligence in execution of planned activities.
  • Consumer first mindset – always curious about how consumption behaviour evolves, particularly on digital platforms and application of any insights into the business.
  • Determination to achieve and willingness to continually learn with a proven record of demonstrating initiative and delivering results.
  • Able to work in an Omni channel business. 
  • Budget management experience would be an advantage.
  • Self-Starter, highly motivated and ambitious.
  • Must be fluent in Swedish and English.
