An opportunity has arisen for an  IT Systems Administrator based in our Twin Falls, Idaho facility.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of various technologies managed by the Information Technology department. This person will focus on the administration of desktop PC’s, servers, network equipment, and software applications. The Systems Administrator will assess and identify appropriate solutions to be integrated into operation and make recommendations for implementation.

 

Essential Functions

  • Hardware Support - provide a second line support for hardware related issues.
  • Perform on-site and remote technical support by diagnosing hardware and software problems and replacing defective components.
  • Assists in the designing, planning, documenting and implementing various systems to include desktop pcs, servers,  network equipment, SANs, operating systems and software applications.
  • After hours support on a rotational basis
  • Maintains, and monitors procedures for all server backups.
  • Maintains, and monitors procedures for all antivirus systems.
  • Assist in monitoring, planning, and coordinating the distribution of software and service packs.
  • Assist in monitoring, planning, and coordinating network security measures in order to protect data, software, and hardware.
  • Analyze equipment performance records in order to determine the need for repair or replacement.
  • Makes recommendations for new equipment and services to purchase and works with various vendors for procurement. 
  • Assist in the organization and inventory of all hardware and software resources.
  • Monitors and maintains the use of photocopiers and printers.
  • Create and maintain good technical documentation.
  • Maintain an inventory of parts for repairs.
  • Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes.
  • Train people in computer system use.
  • Assist in management of corporate cell phone accounts and devices, as required.

  • Help move equipment around office as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
