Role Profile
Based in the Co-op Shares Office, Dungarvan, and reporting to the Co-op Shares Manager, the Co-op Shares Administrator is part of a team that provides comprehensive administrative support through the central contact office to Tirlán Co-op’s 11,000 shareholders and to the representatives of over 3,000 deceased former shareholders.
Responsibilities
- Responding to shareholders queries
- Handling, managing and corresponding to inquiries by post and email
- Dealing with external stakeholders representing shareholders such as solicitors and accountants
- Attending various clinics, meetings, events for face-to-face service for shareholders
- Ensuring all shareholder information records and share register records are up to date and accurate
- Reporting and reviewing of shareholder information to assist in the maintenance of the Co-op Share Register
- Liaising with other departments within Tirlán to provide support to our farmer shareholders
- Preparation of reports and shareholder analysis
- Participate on projects relating to shareholders and the share register
- Working with management in reviewing office processes and procedures
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar administrative role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Strong working knowledge of IT systems and understanding to help implement system changes and updates
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality and empathy
- Problem-solving capability to address operational challenges
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills
- Ability to analyse information, provide reports and actionable insights
- Legal experience or understanding of succession and probate law matters
- A strong team-player with a growth mindset
- Understanding of agriculture and farming advantageous
