Role Profile
We are currently recruiting for an Agribusiness Purchasing Co-Ordinator position within the Agribusiness Procurement team. The successful candidate will support the Agribusiness Purchasing Managers, Farmer Facing sales teams and Tirlán support teams, in ensuring timely and accurate product Masterdata maintenance and all related pricing.
Responsibilities
• To be a key player in the Agribusiness Purchasing Support team and the implementation of best practise purchasing methodologies.
• Set-up and maintenance of Agribusiness product Masterdata & supplier contracts including all related cost and sales pricing on SAP system.
• Set-up and maintenance of product resale pricing including promotions for materials in SAP and CORE point of sale system (POS).
• Monitor & control of non-resale purchasing processes across the business and support to both SAP & Ariba system users.
• Raising central PO’s for branch stock replenishment, as advised by purchasing manager team
• Monitor and maintain the central branch stock replenishment process (MRP). This includes all relevant product Masterdata settings with validation and uploading of sales forecast files.
• Assist in developing business process and systems, including relevant testing and result reporting to support sign-off on changes required.
• Provide ongoing support and back-up to Purchasing Manager team.
• Work closely with Glanbia Business Services (GBS), Purchasing Masterdata (PDM) team to ensure accurate vendor set-up and controls.
• Work with Glanbia Business Services (GBS), Accounts Payable (AP) team to resolve supplier invoicing issues in conjunction with purchasing managers and business stakeholders.
• Monitor system & process issues and risks to ensure compliance with company-wide policies and procedures.
• Liaise with key internal Tirlán stakeholders including Sales teams, Agri CSC, Agri Procurement, Marketing, Finance, IT and Logistics as required
Requirements
• Knowledge of product Masterdata maintenance and procurement process
• SAP system knowledge and experience
• Core (Point of Sale), Ariba and Business Intelligence (BI) system desirable
• Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, including report writing
• Strong data analysis skills and attention to detail
• Proven ability in planning, time management and working to agreed timelines
• A third level qualification in a business or IT related course will be deemed favourable
• A high level of initiative and motivation with the ability to adapt to change
• Previous experience of working within a support team environment
