Role Profile
We have an opportunity for a finance professional who is able to effectively lead within a fast paced and dynamic environment. The role will involve partnering with supply chain & other teams in Tirlán to deliver the insights required to aid decision making and contribute to the success of the business, by providing challenge and support to the team.
The ideal candidate should understand the probable financial implications of decisions on the operations function, thereby having the ability to offer advice and support to the team. Ideally you will have a deep understanding of the supply chain environment and prior experience in this area is an advantage.

Responsibilities
- Partner with the supply chain leadership team to offer insights on financial analysis to evaluate, monitor and drive business performance
- Understand and drive supply chain unit/sub-unit performance by identifying, owning and developing the PI’s/KPI’s of the Operations function and related dashboards and reports on business objects
- Partner with supply chain function in completing the operational KPI framework, and exercise ownership with regard to the performance measurement versus target, within the scope of the Category KPI framework
- Fulfil supply chain leadership role through effective business partnering regarding the achievement of commercial & financial targets
- Develop and challenge strategic/business plans and identify areas of risk and opportunity. Work with supply chain function to develop and challenge budgets/forecasts
- Support & partner the supply chain function’s team in business case feasibility and development and provide on-going monitoring and evaluation of actual performance against agreed targets
- Support the preparation of ad-hoc analysis and management reporting to assist in business decisions, including but not limited to, Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, Commercial negotiations & Project appraisal
- Support process improvement and optimisation being the key finance player in commercial/lean projects from identification through to planning and implementation phases.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant with 3-5 years post-qualification experience in a dynamic environment, working in FMCG environment is preferred but not essential.
- Good knowledge and experience of SAP /BW accounting environments preferred together with ability to use and exploit data warehousing tools and excel.
- Ability to build strong, trusted working relationships
- Experience in managing a range of complex projects to completion
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
