Role Profile:

The Ingredients Network Planner will be responsible for planning, forecasting, and coordinating the movement and utilisation of liquid by-products across the supply network. Ensures efficient and cost-effective management of by-product volumes by developing robust forecasts, identifying and managing outlets, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to support production and add value to the business.

 Key Responsibilities

• Develop short, medium, and long-term volume forecasts for liquid by-products, supported by historical trends, performance data and seasonality.
• Create an integrated supply plan and monitor variances versus plan
• Coordinate withdrawals from sites to varies outlets, managing the varies constraints.
• Support transport teams to optimise routing and logistics to minimise cost.
• Identify, build, and maintain relationships with by-product outlets.
• Track outlet performance, capacity, risk levels, pricing, and compliance requirements while supporting development of new disposal or value-added processes.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, communicating risks, volume fluctuations, and plan changes proactively.
• Participate in S&OP cycles and various forums, presenting forecasts, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Maintain accurate data in planning systems
• Report performance metrics, analysing the cost drivers and recommend optimisation opportunities.

Requirements

• Interest or experience in Planning, supply chain operations, or related fields.
• A third level qualification in Supply Chain or relevant discipline is desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with data from multiple sources.
• Familiarity with planning processes and forecasting concepts.
• Proficiency in Excel and ability to learn planning systems quickly.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
