Role Profile
Located in our China Office, this role reports to the ASPAC Business Development Director.
Responsibilities
• Drive revenue growth and improve margins in alignment with business goals
• Build effective networks, generate new leads and identify and develop new opportunities
• Foster strong and lasting relationships with existing customers through effective communication, while deepening engagement to enhance long-term value
• Oversee distributor management and develop a strategic business plan for service distribution
• Ensure quality control by monitoring transport conditions, including temperature compliance, particularly within the cream tea and bakery channels
• Work independently and collaborate with technical teams based in Shanghai or the headquarters in Ireland
• Evaluate the customer decision-making processes and establish effective communication strategies to build strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels
• Organize technical meetings with customers and coordinate product testing
• Conduct business negotiation and project bidding
• Monitor industry trends, gather competitive intelligence, and provide strategic market insights to management
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or above
• Strong market awareness with the ability to identify potential opportunities, analyze customer pain points and competitive landscapes, and develop tailored solutions and competitive strategies
• Strong strategic thinking and priority setting skills
• Proven ability to build and nurture constructive relationships with customers at all levels, including conducting in-depth business discussions with middle management and strategic dialogues with top executives
• Excellent negotiation skills and proficiency in coordinating internal resources.
• Skilled in delivering clear, compelling presentations while remaining an attentive listener
• Highly motivated with strong personal attributes, including self-drive, a passion for learning, goal orientation, and a commitment to achieving ambitious targets
