Role Profile

We have an exciting career opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join a thriving pharmacy based in Campile, Co Wexford. This is an established pharmacy at the heart of the community. The Pharmacy Technician will work alongside the pharmacist to ensure that prescriptions are dealt with in a timely manner. Campile Pharmacy prides itself on its high standard of customer care, which the Technician, alongside the dispensary and OTC team, would contribute to by advising customers on over the counter medications.

The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering a high standard of patient care. If you have strong retail and customer service skills and experience dealing in a busy & professional environment then this could be the job for you!

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing prescriptions
• Assisting the Pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions
• Advising customers on OTC medication
• Managing purchasing, both bulk ordering and day to day.
• Miscellaneous dispensary organisational duties
• Advising customers on all aspects of their medications

Key Requirements:

• Pharmacy Technician qualification
• Minimum one year experience as a technician
• Familiarity with OTC medication, including dosage and frequency
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast paced environment
• Fluent English
