The Opportunity

As a Social Media Intern in the Organic Social department at Body&Fit, you will be at the forefront of the company's online presence. The Organic Social team is responsible for developing, applying, and adjusting social media strategies whilst creating relationships with the influencers and audiences. Your role within this department will focus on community management and content creation for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and Facebook. This content is aimed to contribute to the brand’s growth whilst communicating our brand message in fun and entertaining ways.

Responsibilities:

• Content creation: Create daily stories that encourage interaction with audience.
• Community management: Interact with our followers and create long-lasting relationships with (new) followers.
• Brainstorm new content: Come up with ideas for even better content that will contribute to the desired brand’s growth.
• Participate in content days: Create content for all platforms on content days.
• Social listening: Catch trends and new tools to create content on stay on top of the game.
• Participate in influencer events: Support the team during influencer events with some great ideas.
• Reporting: Create detailed social media performance reports for the various Body&Fit channels.

About You

• Passion for social media and fitness: The ideal candidate should be genuinely passionate about social media marketing and have a strong interest in the fitness and sports nutrition space.
• Communication/ or marketing background: A background in communications/or marketing is preferred.
• Attention to detail: A keen eye for detail is essential to ensure the social media platform’s visual appeal and accuracy.
• Innovative thinker: Bring fresh and creative ideas to the team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
• Strong communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial for effective collaboration with various teams.
• Team player: Be eager to work collaboratively with diverse team members and demonstrate a willingness to contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
• Language requirements: You must speak and write Dutch flawlessly; English is also a required language.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in marketing, communication, or a similar field in the Netherlands.
• Passionate about digital and social media marketing
• Keeps up with social media trends
• Exhibits positive energy
• Generates creative, out-of-the-box ideas that drive performance
• Can meet tight deadlines
• Organized and structured
• Available from February for a minimum of six months
• Able to commute to Amsterdam at least three times a week
• Available for a 40-hour a week internship
