If so, you might be the perfect fit for the BI Analyst (SAP BO) role at Glanbia, a global leader in nutrition and dairy products. As a BI Analyst, you will be part of the Centre of Excellence for Business Intelligence and Data Analytics, where you will report to the BI Team Lead and deliver high-quality reporting solutions using SAP Business Objects. Glanbia has a very strong culture of data driven decision making and it places data and analytics extremely high in the organisation’s areas of focus. Our Business Intelligence analysts manage and deliver on a busy programme, across multiple data domains. Each analyst is highly skilled and capable of working independently in any of the SAP BI tools deployed (SAP BW, SAP BO, SAC, Datasphere). We are looking for an equally skilled and capable analyst to join this busy and dynamic team.

The role will aligned to our Aurora office but can be remote.

Key Responsibilities 

• You will liaise with the business stakeholders to gather, document and refine requirements for reporting solutions, demonstrating an understanding of the business problem and the business data for the particular area in question.
• Designing, developing, and maintaining SAP BI solutions: Craft and develop queries upon request for data, create visualizations and reports to present information  
• Ensure robust documentation to support the functional and technical design for business reporting solutions across SAP BW, BO and SAC.
• Complete the development of SAP BW, BO and SAC technologies to develop rich, interactive, visually striking graphics and data visualizations using large amounts of data 
• Promoting a data culture within the organization - advocate and implement data education and literacy. 
• Advise business contacts of existing solutions to prevent duplication and support them to align with their counterparts across the organization 
• Improve existing dashboards, reports, and data transformations 

• Develop ad-hoc reporting and provide analytics services to support business decision-making processes 
• Help define or revise business and project KPIs, and create supporting reporting and dashboards where needed 
• Provide support to the development of training materials and training activities related to the BI tools and applications 

Education

• Primary degree in IT or Engineering

Experience

• 5+ years of prior experience developing reporting solutions using SAP BW, BO and SAC
• Expertise in SAP BW, SAP BO Analysis for Excel and SAP SAC
• Proven ability to partner to develop functional designs for solutions across multiple data areas to deliver business intelligence capabilities (eg: COPA, MM, IM, C4C, AR, AP, Product Costing etc)
• Experience in an S4 HANA environment would be a distinct advantage.
• Experience in designing and delivering high quality data visuals
• Experience of leveraging SAP Datasphere in technical architecture of solutions would be an advantage.

• Able to take complex business processes and data and document into understandable artifacts 
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment 
• Able to represent and quantify business value provided by BI solutions across the enterprise 
• Proactive, self-starter with excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively 
• Experience with data modeling techniques and tools a plus
