What you’ll do:

The Blender Operator is responsible for the operations of different manufacturing equipment including maintaining and adjusting machines during operations and downtime cleaning activities.
Essential Functions

 

Every day, you can expect to:

• Operate production/cleaning equipment.
 • Repeatedly maneuver up to 55lbs of materials
 • Complete daily production logs and reports including all Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) forms.  • Verify product integrity during the manufacturing process.
 • Perform equipment or product changeovers as designated by the Production Supervisor.
 • Ensure the work areas be kept clean and free of debris and foreign material. 
• standard operating procedures and job safety.
 • Communicate with immediate production supervisor or plant manager on equipment troubleshooting and corrective actions.
 • Provide on-the-job training for employees.
 • Ensure that all quality control checks are being completed and documented.
 • All employees have the responsibility to report food safety problems to their production supervisor or someone with authority to initiate action.
 • All employees shall identify any risk of intentional harm to the facility, personnel, or products. All employees have the responsibility to report unauthorized persons to their production supervisor who will challenge the individual and/or escort them from the site.
 • Time stress related to fast-paced work and multi-task requirements.
 • Perform other duties as assigned. 
• Liaison with other production personnel to ensure that production plan is being followed.
 • Perform safety inspections and be aware of all the safety points on the machines
 • Trouble-shoot defects and own the quality of the products
 • Understand the differences in powders and be able to successfully perform the procedures associated with allergen and flavor cleans
 • Communicate with the appropriate leadership if issues arise in regards to safety and/or quality issues • Responsible for filling out all documentation correctly and clearly
 • Assist in maintaining/promoting our Safety Culture

To thrive in this role, you must:

• Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Lab coat, safety shoes, safety glasses, bump cap, hearing protection, hair net, beard net, and nitrile gloves
 • Perform other duties as assigned

• Identify defects on equipment or work area and immediately communicate to the appropriate leadership member.

Preferred qualifications:
•    Preferred High School Diploma or GED
Preferred 3+ months of manufacturing Food manufacturing experience preferred

 

Other Experience
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English is required
• Experience in food environment or consumer product preferred

 

Physical Demands:

1) Lift up to 55 lbs. on an frequent basis 6 inches off Ground to Waist.
2) Lift up to 30 lbs. on an occasional basis Waist to Shoulder.
3) Carry up to 55 lbs. on an occasional basis up to 5 ft. 4) Be able to pull a 55lb bag from a height of 60 inches on an occasional basis

What you’ll do:

As a Mixer Associate, you will manage responsible for the operations of different manufacturing equipment including maintaining and adjusting machines during operations and downtime cleaning activities.

 

Every day, you can expect to:

  • Work with known allergens
    • Most common allergens found in the plant/warehouse environment include, but are not limited to, milk, soy, wheat, egg, peanut and tree nut
  • Work with powders
  • Stay continually active moving materials on the production floor
  • Trouble-shoot defects and own the quality of the products
  • Be responsible for filling out paper reports correctly and clearly (parts, allergen clean and flavor change sheets, safety audits, etc.)
  • Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):  N95 Respirator, lab coat, safety shoes, safety glasses, bump cap, hearing protection, hair net, beard net, and nitrile gloves
  • Practice continuous safety

 

To thrive in this role, you must:

  • Lift up to 55 lbs. on an occasional basis 6 inches off Ground to Waist.
  • Lift up to 30 lbs. on an occasional basis Waist to Shoulder.
  • Carry up to 55 lbs. on an occasional basis up to 5 ft.
  • Be able to pull a 55lb bag from a height of 60 inches on an occasional basis.
  • Be able to successfully perform setups on manufacturing machines assigned to
  • Ensure that work procedures are being followed in a consistent manner (Safety, Quality, GMP, MAV, HACCP)
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English fluently
  • Ability to operate a machine with the knowledge of changing over parts
  • Basic math skills / Basic computer skills (using SAP System and RF scan guns)

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Powder production experience a plus
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Basic skills using RF scan guns preferred
  • Experience in food environment or consumer product preferred
  • Ability to operate a machine with the knowledge of changing over parts preferred
