The Opportunity 


Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for continuous improvement and a knack for fostering effective relationships? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Production Supervisor. This role is integral to our manufacturing operations, and we are looking for someone who can lead, organize, train, and develop our production employees using metrics in a continuous improvement environment. This permanent position will report to the Front End Manager and duties include but are not limited to the following;

  • Provide first-level leadership, offering support, coaching, and direction to the manufacturing work team.
  • Achieve or exceed metrics in safety, quality, customer service, and cost management.
  • Foster an environment of problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate effective information sharing across work teams, business areas, and functional areas.
  • Ensure consistent adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Report production on a daily basis.
  • Write and implement procedures and SOPs, and provide training on these procedures.
  • Responsible for the quality and quantity of production output, employee training, and skills assessment/development.
  • Collaborate with Quality Control, Accounting, Marketing, and R&D departments.
  • Ensure plant personnel practice safe work habits and follow safety rules.
  • Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and professional standards within the food manufacturing facility.


  The Skills you will bring to the team

  • Minimum: High School Diploma/GED, preferred: Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 2-3 years of production supervisory experience in a manufacturing plant.
  • Experience managing Continuous Improvement through manufacturing metrics. (MES/5S/OEE/LEAN MANUFACTURING)
  • Knowledge and Experience with Food Production Equipment.
  • Experience in food and/or consumer products environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of GMP/HACCP.
  • Ability to facilitate work teams
  • Ability to manage and develop team members
  • Occasional flexibility to support other shifts with advanced notice

Where and how you will work  

The opportunity will be based in Aurora, IL. This role is nfor the 2nd shift and start times will be early/mid afternoon, Monday through Friday.  Further shift details will be shared by your recruiter.
