Compensation and Benefits

Compensation for roles at Glanbia varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. Glanbia provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois. This range may not be applicable to other locations. The hourly rate for Illinois based employees for this role is $25.00 to $29.00 per hour.

Job Summary

The Training Coordinator is responsible for ensuring all training content aligns with the Aurora Campus goals as well as is compliant with regulatory, safety, quality, and site-specific requirements. This role owns the day‑to‑day execution of developing and updating training material as well as collaborating cross functionally with all departments to identify and close training gaps. This role is based out of a food powder manufacturing facility in Aurora, IL.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

 

Training & Compliance (Department Ownership)

  • Implement cross training program and criteria including Observations/Qualifications/On-floor training for Aurora Campus departments.
  • Ensure training across the GPN Aurora Campus is standardized.
  • Design, develop, and update training materials including voiceovers when needed.
  • Collaborate with Operations/EHS/Quality/Maintenance/Facilities/HR teams to align training with plant goals.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with all departments to identify and address training gaps.
  • Review training Queue and action pending items.
  • Provide leadership and direction to ensure Training programs meet the needs of all Manufacturing/Warehouse employees.
  • Manage and update Communication Monitors as needed.
  • Manage and maintain in-house training equipment within designated training areas.
  • Attend appropriate level meetings to monitor issues and new projects that involve training.
  • Support implementation of controlled operational documents such as BBS, Intelex, Quality forms etc.
  • Provide support to Designated Trainers and Training Leads when needed.

Safety/Quality

  • Practice and enforce GMP compliance
  • Partner with EHS to maintain safety course compliance
  • Support internal and external audits by providing training documentation and explanations as needed

Decision Making & Problem Solving

  • Ability to foster an inclusive learning environment
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills
  • Proficiency with Learning Management System (LMS) and Microsoft Office
  • Interdepartmental collaboration

 

Bilingual in Spanish preferred

 

Education Requirements & Years of Experience

  • Minimum high school diploma and Train the Trainer Certification or other similar education. Bachelor's preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience training in a manufacturing environment.
