The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced learning professional to take ownership of our Learning Strategy to build digital capabilities via our internal learning program, the Digital Academy. The Learning Partner will be responsible for shaping and delivering a learning strategy that enables our workforce to build the digital skills needed for today and the future.

This is a senior, hands-on role that combines strategic influence with practical delivery. Acting as the central connection point for our digital learning initiatives, the role requires strong business partnering with Digital, Learning and Functional teams, programme design, and vendor management capabilities alongside a solid understanding of modern learning solutions that grow digital skills.

Job Responsibilities

Strategy & Business Partnering

  • Develop, implement, and continually refine the organisation’s digital learning strategy, ensuring it is aligned with business priorities.
  • Partner with business leaders and functions to understand digital capability needs and translate them into targeted learning solutions.
  • Influence and guide decision-making on digital upskilling across the organisation.

 

Programme Design & Delivery

  • Conduct needs analysis and design scalable learning programmes that address organisational digital skills gaps.
  • Build and deliver campaigns to drive adoption, awareness, and engagement with learning initiatives.
  • Curate and design digital curriculum, drawing on a blend of internal content, external providers, and market-leading digital platforms.
  • Oversee the annual review of programmes and frameworks, capturing feedback from employees and leveraging business metrics, to ensure continuous improvement.

 

Frameworks & Content

  • Maintain and evolve the organisation’s digital skills framework, ensuring it remains relevant and future-focused.
  • Work closely with third-party training providers and platforms, including LinkedIn Learning, to source high-quality learning content.

 

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Manage relationships with business units, vendors, and other key stakeholders to ensure successful programme delivery.
  • Act as the key contact for learning partnerships and vendor negotiations that support the digital academy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including HR, Digital, IT, and PSO to ensure smooth operational processes.

 

Measurement & Reporting

  • Partner with the HR Data Analytics team to track effectiveness, engagement, and ROI of learning initiatives.
  • Provide insight and recommendations to leadership on digital capability progress and areas of focus.
  • Operations & Knowledge Management
  • Manage the Digital Academy SharePoint site, ensuring resources are accessible, engaging, and up to date.
  • Stay abreast of external trends and best practice in digital learning content, applying insights where relevant to business needs.

Qualification & Experience Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Learning & Development, business management, or business technology
  • Proven experience in a senior Learning & Development role, with a strong focus on developing digital skills.
  • Demonstrable success in designing and delivering business-aligned digital learning programmes.
  • Knowledge and practical experience with leading digital learning platforms and providers, including LinkedIn Learning.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior leaders and business partners.
  • Strong vendor management skills with experience in negotiating and managing third-party training providers.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using learning data and analytics to measure impact and inform decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and change management skills, with the ability to build campaigns that drive adoption and engagement.
  • Ability to work independently and manage complex programmes without direct reports.
  • Curious, adaptable, and pragmatic, with a focus on achieving measurable business outcomes.
