The Opportunity 

Are you passionate about the dairy industry and ready to make a significant impact? As a Dairy Territory Representative, you’ll be at the forefront of our colostrum procurement and buying strategies. This permanent role reports directly to the Colostrum Procurement Manager and offers a dynamic and rewarding career path. This permanent position will report to the Colostrum Procurement Manager and duties include but are not limited to the following; 

• Build Strong Relationships: Develop and maintain robust connections with farmers and dairies.
• Ensure Business Continuity: Coordinate visits and evaluations to keep operations running smoothly.
• Source Premium Colostrum: Manage contract negotiations and secure top-quality colostrum.
• Strategic Implementation: Align long-term sourcing strategies with sales demands.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure the consistency and quality of raw materials.
• Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work with manufacturing and quality teams to resolve issues promptly.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential procurement risks.
• Documentation Maintenance: Keep essential contract and food safety documentation up to date.
• Hands-On Supervision: Cover routes as a working supervisor when needed.

Physical Demands/Requirements

• Strength and Agility: Lift and carry items up to 50 pounds, including overhead.
• Active Work: Engage in moderate physical activity, including reaching, standing, walking, crouching, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and balancing.
• Travel: Drive long hours and travel regularly.

• Dairy Expertise: Strong knowledge of dairy farm operations.
• Clean Driving Record: Valid driving license with no moving violations.
• Vehicle Operation: Ability to drive bob-tail vehicles.
• Negotiation and Problem-Solving: Excellent negotiation, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
• Communication: Strong verbal communication and public relations skills.
• Adaptability: Effectively handle changing and conflicting priorities.
• Technical Proficiency: SAP knowledge.
• Analytical Skills: Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Detail-Oriented: Manage details and deadlines with accuracy and precision.
• Team Collaboration: Work and communicate across the value chain with diverse team members.
• Independence: Thrive in a fast-paced and nimble team environment.
