The Opportunity
At Glanbia Performance Nutrition (GPN) we are on a mission to revolutionise content for the digitally savvy consumer. This role will lead how we blend the ‘art and science’ of content development by leveraging cutting-edge insights from large language models (LLMs), search data and deep consumer understanding.
You’ll be at the forefront of how we craft content that not only captures attention, but also drives engagement, creating a seamless fusion of creative and analytical approaches.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for spearheading our content strategy across the International region, ensuring it resonates with diverse audiences. They will need to have a deep understanding of the various communication platforms within the region and possess the skills to craft content that aligns with regional preferences and trends.
This role requires someone who is passionate about using data-driven insights to create compelling narratives and can adapt content to meet the unique demands of fast-evolving digital landscape.
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of developing and executing a groundbreaking, data-driven content strategy across International markets (GB, India, China and Australia are lead markets). You'll guide and influence senior stakeholders to adopt this innovative approach.
- Lead the creation of ‘evergreen’ and educational content that establishes the brand as a thought leader in the industry. Your leadership will be pivotal in changing how we develop and manage content.
- Take full responsibility for developing bold, innovative content strategies for product launches and other key business initiatives. You will drive change by reimagining how content supports new products, creating breakthrough ideas that excite and engage our audience while building brand equity.
- Own the evolution of our social and digital tone of voice, inspiring teams to execute with creativity and consistency while driving a more authentic and engaging communication style across all channels.
- Oversee the creation and continuous optimisation of digital content that moves beyond traditional approaches. You will lead the charge in redefining how content is produced, optimised, and measured.
- Build strong partnerships with senior marketing leaders across the International business, championing a new way of working.
- Line manager to International Assistant Brand Manager – supporting, mentoring and guiding them in functional and leadership best practice.
The Skills you will bring to the team
- 10 years+ marketing experience with proven and tangible impact on previous business with a strong blend of strategic thinking and creative flair
- Multi-channel digital expertise and trend awareness. Able to demonstrate where digital insight and consumer behaviour has shaped creative output whilst keeping pace with changing external landscape.
- Experience understanding how to create content in a digital-first environment. Using LLMs and search data to provide content that speakers to these tools as well as to consumers.
- Ability to articulate brand strategy, adapt into compelling plans and recommend how to optimise for future growth
- A proven team leader who can mentor and collaborate with the wider business to grow, whilst also influencing senior leaders
- Highly self-motivated, naturally curious and with a strong ability to drive change.
- A passion for sports, fitness and nutrition as a cultural space.
