The Opportunity

 

Drive South Korea online sales

  • Accountable for driving online sales for cross border e-commerce in South Korea. Focused on Account management and commercial management of cross border accounts and Coupang Jikgu. This includes JBPs and commercial negotiations with distributors and/or platform partners.
  • Executes E-commerce brand, marketing and platform campaigns based on business intelligence.

 

 

E-commerce Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Responsible for business KPIs: Traffic, conversion, basket size, sell-in targets, GMV, sell-out targets. Manage monthly sell out data by channel and SKUs.
  • Data consolidation and reporting for Monthly, Quarterly and ad hoc reports in a timely manner.
  • Supports country manager on portfolio analysis and e-commerce business forecast. Drive relevant pack sizes and product range, support NPD projects for South Korea

 

 

Campaign Development and Execution

  • Brand development on e-com via commercial campaigns, consolidating monthly sales and marketing performance.
  • Drive content optimisation and frictionless customer experience on digital shelf and related product pages.
  • Manage marketing and trade promotion spend and platform relevant projects collaborating with E-commerce Manager South Korea and Marketing team, ensuring ROI/ROAS is maximised.
  • Drive performance marketing with 3rd party vendors and distributors in collaboration with marketing.

 

 

Projects

  • Successful implementation of channel projects, including opportunity sizing and reviewing performance.
  • Prepare and coordinate project-related meetings including collaboration on Direct to Consumer where needed.

 

 

The Skills you will bring to the team

  • Hands-on experience delivering cross border e-commerce sales and operations (Minimum 5 years). Track record of delivering e-commerce performance on Brand official stores, 1st or 3rd party online sellers.
  • Experience and understanding of operational management and marketing tools under Coupang platform, and e-commerce workflows.
  • Previous experience working with e-commerce distributors to implement key business initiatives by brand and retailer.
  • Ability to breakdown cost value chains for cross border and domestic e-commerce, understanding import and customs regulations in country.
  • Ability to work entrepreneurially across a culturally diverse group of people and markets. Embraces teamwork and diversity as a key value.
  • Strong experience in Sales & Marketing, Commercial and/or Business planning with data analytics
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate proposals and drive alignment of key stakeholders and work cross-functionally.
  • Proactive, energetic, and investigative
  • Highly organized with strong prioritization and time management.
  • Fluent in both Korean and English
