We have an open role for a Customer Business Manager to oversee a portfolio of key Drug and Value customers & geographies, develop new business from existing business and provide excellent customer service. Your account management responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers and connecting with sales leaders to ensure achievement of the sales plan while managing trade budgets, margins and other impacts to the P&L and/or EBITA.
Looking for a Customer Business Manager with experience on Drug & Value:
- Lead business development at Drug and grow white space opportunity at Value
- Strong Entrepreneurial/GM mindset
- Ability to lead broker multiple partners and navigate distributor network
- Responsible for all aspects of customer development including opportunity identification, relationship management, customer service interface, trade fund planning, PNL management and annual planning
- Develop and deliver strategic selling, assortment, promotion, pricing plans
- Strong negotiation skills particularly regarding trade investments and promotional plans
- Customer expertise and identification of opportunities for our brands
- Lead Joint Business Planning where applicable
- Identify category selling opportunities and deliver category based selling stories
Experience, Degree, and Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience within CPG and/or broker
- Drug and/or Value experience is preferred (ie, Walgreens, CVS)
- Proficient in utilizing syndicated data (i.e. SPINS, Nielsen, IRI) and trade management systems, Microsoft apps)
- Financial acumen and discipline
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams
- Remote position, with travel required

Compensation for roles at Glanbia varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. Glanbia provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in IL. This range may not be applicable to other locations. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The salary range for the CBM is $110,000 - $135,000 plus annual bonus plus car allowance.
