The Opportunity
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this role is responsible for interacting with customers and ensuring the administrative and procedural requirements of the order management is fulfilled ensuring the service of Glanbia products are met on a daily basis. You will be a contributing member of the distribution & sales office team, to the achievement of sales growth, profit and market share through the sale of product whilst providing exceptional levels of customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Providing excellent customer service to all stakeholders across the business
• Answering customer inquiries via phone and email
• Processing orders accurately and managing customer accounts, via SAP
• Troubleshooting and resolving customer enquiries and issues within a timely manner, satisfying Customer and Business expectations.
• Handling customer complaints and feedback, ensuring Customer satisfaction.
• Build, maintain and retain existing customer base and relationships
• Guide customers with ongoing support and provide the right contact within the company when either technical or product expertise is required
• Ensuring all documentation is recorded and processed through appropriate system(s)
• Collaborate closely with Demand and Supply Planner re availability of products
• Management of Customer & Territory Manager order forms
• Assist Commercial and Marketing with customer needs where necessary
• Operate within the guidelines of the pricing policy and quotation authority limits
• Ongoing development of your knowledge of Glanbia products
• Additional general administration duties as required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Minimum 2 years' customer service and/or office administration in industries such as food manufacturing, pharmaceutical or call centres is highly advantageous, demonstrating a proven track record of success in customer interaction.
• SAP knowledge preferred
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving abilities
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, providing support as required
• The ability to work accurately, with attention to detail
• Agile and adaptable in an exciting and fast growing business
• Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
