The role of Distributor Sales Manager is to help design and execute the Commercial Strategy across key customers through a distributor within the Sports Nutrition category.  This is a compelling opportunity for either an existing Account Manager or experienced Distributor Manager, to continue to grow their career in an exciting category, with significant scope for future growth.

This is a permanent, full-time position reporting to Head of Commercial & Marketing (Country Lead)

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Lead and shape the Speciality & Gym channel strategy for the German market, looking after key customers through a Distributor
  • Manage and grow distribution across Speciality & Gym customers through distributor partnership, working with their commercial teams
  • Negotiate and track FY JBP and terms agreement for distributor and manage promotional strategy and  budgets
  • Build strong relationships with key industry contacts
  • Ensure close collaboration with marketing & trade activation to develop appropriate marketing support plans
  • Work with demand forecasting, finance, customer service to ensure both internal & external needs are met

 

 

The Skills you will bring to the team

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification with minimum 3-5 years’ experience in similar commercial environment
  • Ability to influence both cross functionally and at a senior level
  • Be results orientated & show entrepreneurial mindset
  • Be proactive, plan meticulously, and be obsessed with excellence in execution
  • Interest in sport or health and fitness
  • Sports Nutrition category knowledge & experience desirable but not essential
  • Comfortable approaching new business and willingness to travel
