We are hiring an Assistant Brand Manager to the team! The Assistant Brand Manager will report the the Brand Manager and is responsible for execution and optimization of annual brand plans for new and existing products within product lines & groups. You will collaborate with Insights, Finance, Sales, & Integrated Marketing teams in order to drive growth for the business.  

 

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Key contributor to Brand team and responsible for execution and on-going optimization of brand’s strategic plan & innovation pipeline
  • Supports delivery of brand’s P&L goals and the creation and delivery of the financials of assigned product groups
  • Measures & monitors business performance, competitive activity & category trends, develops recommendations to address performance vs. plan
  • Owns day to day budget management and strategically evaluates ROI/ recommends future spend
  • Assists with packaging development, marketing activation, and in-store execution for new & existing product groups
  • Collaborates with insights & analytics data to translate learnings into brand portfolio strategy
  • Collaborates with customer planning and strategy to support sales presentations, demos, materials development and sell-in of new items
  • Monitor timelines and key project milestones to ensure efficient, on-time delivery
  • Drives from start to finish, briefing & manage internal process to create and develop project deliverables, programming and product innovation
  • Leads POS creation and strategy
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the development and delivery of strategies to meet short- and long-term goals
  • Ability to adjust to changing priorities, deal with ambiguity and work with a variety of stakeholders

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred
  • At least 2 years of CPG relevant experience 
  • Self starter with drive to roll up sleeves with a ‘figure it out’ mentality
  • Ability to work at a fast-pace and lead multi-threaded work streams
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about health & wellness
  • Communicates effectively and builds relationships with internal/external stakeholders
  • Strong PowerPoint building and presentation skills and ability to persuade audiences (internal and external key stakeholders)
  • Previous experience pulling an analyzing syndicated data (NIQ, Spins, etc) preferred
  • Team player and ability to work well and build strong relationships with cross-functional teams
  • Results oriented with high level of initiative and assertiveness
  • Strong cross-functional project management skills
  • P&L/budget management experience
