We are hiring an Assistant Brand Manager - Brand Building who will be responsible for execution, project management of campaigns, and optimization of the marketing plans for new and existing products for Optimum Nutrition.  You will collaborate with integrated marketing, creative, and PR to ensure plans are executed well and adapt to changing needs of the plans, based on new information.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Key contributor to Brand team and responsible for execution and on-going optimization of annual marketing plan and product line consumer and customer marketing plans
  • Understand Insights & Analytics data and recommend changes/ optimization to support marketing strategies across traditional and digital media, PR, influencers, experiential, and social media
  • Lead day-to-day execution of activation plans for strategic product lines within the Optimum Nutrition brand, working with Integrated Marketing and external Agency partners to keep projects on schedule and maximize effectiveness
  • Assist with internal/external creative team to brief, develop, and review creative to ensure its executed to brand standards and works for marketing plans
  • Collaborate with customer planning and sales to support sales presentations, demos, materials development
  • Manage and track overall Brand Marketing budget, accruals, POs, invoicing, record keeping, and reporting out monthly to Finance and Accounting
  • Perform day-to-day business management activities and executes other projects or activities as requested
  • Measure business performance of Marketing Campaigns and Consumer Activations, develops recommendations to address performance vs. planned KPI targets
  • Manage ongoing status meetings, project trackers, and marketing calendars across product lines and campaigns with internal and external partners

 

 

Experience/Education:

  • 4 year BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business, Finance or similar
  • 3-4 years of CPG relevant experience or  1-2 years of CPG relevant experience and advanced degree (MBA)
  • Knowledge of foundational accounting principles and corporate finance, P&L
  • Knowledge of branding and marketing activation frameworks and how to apply to activation
  • Nielsen and IRI data analytics
  • High proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
