The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Policy Technical Writer to join our People Success Organization (PSO) team to support the strategic transformation and business growth agenda in Glanbia.

Glanbia is establishing a program of work to enable and fuel the growth of our business units – Glanbia Nutritionals and Glanbia Performance Nutrition – through effective partnering, development of strategic functional capabilities and digitally enabled solutions and service delivery from our global shared functions.

This will be a key role in the PSO Team, working with the HR Functional Lead to create and/or update various policies and programs related to our strategic harmonization and standardization projects.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Create descriptive HR policies, programs and procedures per project outcomes.
  • Research topics, trends and best practices related to the HR policy standardization and harmonization project.
  • Determine the clearest and most logical way to present and communicate information to all levels of employees.
  • Generate innovative ideas for content templates.
  • Partner with other technical writers to update the KnowHR platform as needed.
  • Create KnowHR Policy articles to assist employees with finding information on the KnowHR platform.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, laws and regulations.
  • Meet with SMEs to ensure specialized topics are sufficiently documented.
  • Analyze information required for the development or update of policy, procedure or program and any form documentation needs.
  • Identifying areas of improvement and making recommendations for policy and program enhancements.
  • Ensuring that all project documentation is accurate and up to date.

Skills required:

  • Experience in HR, Legal, Business Administration or a related field
  • Experience creating policies and procedures
  • Experience managing multiple policies at one time
  • Excellent stakeholder management across multiple functions, levels and geographies
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong Project Management skills and capable of working with agility and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyze and make sense of, and help drive decisions from large amounts of data
