Join our team as a Front End Developer and play a key role in bringing our brands to life online. You will collaborate with marketing, creative, and business stakeholders to build compelling web and email experiences that showcase our products and strengthen our brand presence.

 

This is a dynamic, multi-brand position that requires the ability to seamlessly navigate between business priorities, manage content across various CMS platforms, and maintain product catalogs for multiple eCommerce websites.

 

Front End Developer Responsibilities:        

  • Oversee the management and execution of tasks across multiple DTC sites for various brands, each on different platforms and developmental stages.
  • Deploy and QA digital content and promotions across multiple brands using Website & CRM content management system platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, Emarsys, and Klaviyo.
  • Improve the front-end interface of the website to enhance user experience, including navigation, layout, and overall usability, leading to increased customer satisfaction and engagement.
  • Manage and update the product catalog on the e-commerce platforms, including adding new products, updating product information, and optimizing product listings for search and discovery.
  • Implement on-page and technical SEO best practices to improve website visibility, organic search rankings, and traffic from search engines, resulting in increased organic traffic and revenue.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders including designers, product managers, content producers, QA engineers and release engineers, driving projects throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Use understanding of technology and brand positioning to effectively create product and UX suggestions that balance development effort for the best ROI.
  • Utilize Google Analytics to analyze user behavior and propose enhancements to optimize the user experience and conversion rates.
  • Work cross functionally to ensure pricing, product and promo offers are up to date and fully functional across all sites.
  • Monitor website performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance website speed, responsiveness, and overall performance, ensuring a smooth and seamless browsing experience for users.
  • Ensure that the website is fully optimized for mobile devices, providing a seamless and user-friendly shopping experience for mobile users and maximizing mobile conversion rates.
  • Develop strategies to optimize conversion rates, such as improving product page design, streamlining checkout process, and integrating persuasive call-to-action elements, resulting in increased sales and revenue.

 

Education and skills

  • Bachelor's degree from a 4 year university or college
  • 2+ years of professional experience in related position
  • Extensive experience with web technologies.
  • Strong modern cross-platform software development skills.

Preferred:

  • Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS is a minimum.
  • Proficient in debugging DOM objects in Chrome or similar environment.
  • strong experience with web frameworks like react.js or knockout.js
  • REST: 1 year

 

 

Candidate will be responsible for using their knowledge of programming languages to develop superior user experiences which includes reducing consumer friction points, optimizing layouts and visual elements, identifying opportunities and proposing solutions, and keeping our technology set up to date with latest industry advancements.

Glanbia provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles; the annual salary for this role is $95,000 - $115,000 plus an annual bonus. This range may not be applicable to other locations and targeted salary is midpoint of range. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role.
