We are hiring a Sales Analyst due to an internal promotion! The Grocery Sales Analyst is an Entry Level position responsible for supporting sales and brand growth through various analytical projects, tools, and report development. You will work cross functionally in support of broker partners, pricing & promotional strategies, product page variation strategies, consumer insights, new product launches, and demand forecasting, among other business functions.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Assemble and prepare weekly/monthly sales reports for distribution to the organization in conjunction with analysis and recommendations
  • Partner directly with Customer Business Manager on customer specific meetings, ownership and activation
  • Prepare TPM insight reports for channel focusing on FC accuracy, STA promotional status, LTA accuracy, and ad-hoc requests
  • Execute TPM maintenance for M1 and M3 customers to include new item assortment, RGO revenue line updates and baseline forecasts
  • Identify, monitor, and report on category, customer, retail, shopper and competitive industry trends, provide recommendations to achieve objectives
  • Collaborate with Category Management team and data providers (Category data, vendor portals, internal data sources) to build a holistic view of the category and GPN’s performance within it. 
  • Understand category growth strategy for key platforms, consider the profitability model, and make recommendations to the sales team and internal partners on assortment including packs and innovation strategy
  • Provide support for supply and demand forecasting using inventory, shipment, and POS data when requested by CBM or channel director
  • Continuously evaluate and embed data, automation, and process improvement

 

 

Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree with internship or up to 2 years of experience 
  • Ability to adapt strategies to take advantage of changing consumer and marketplace dynamics through effective use of data and insights
  • Team commitment – highly motivated – constantly curious mindset – brings fun to work
  • MS suite - Excel, Word, PP, Teams

Glanbia provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles; the annual salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 plus an annual bonus. This range may not be applicable to other locations. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role.
