The Opportunity 

Are you passionate about supply chain management and looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment? We are seeking a dedicated Materials Planner to join our team and ensure the seamless flow of materials to our manufacturing locations. This role is crucial in maintaining production efficiency and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This position reports to the Materials Planning Sr. Manager and duties include but are not limited to the following;

• Oversee the management of ingredients and packaging components.
• Ensure materials are available for production when needed.
• Proactively and reactively solve problems with suppliers.
• Utilize planning methods to evaluate inventory and consumption data.
• Make recommendations to reduce costs or increase efficiency.
• Analyze and communicate constrained materials and recovery plans.
• Develop detailed analysis for planning and fulfillment metrics.
• Identify opportunities to improve material planning techniques and methods.

   The Skills you will bring to the team

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related area.
• Minimum of 3 years in a CPG supply chain role or equivalent related experience.
• Clear understanding of planning systems and their impact on inventory and service levels.
• Solid knowledge of planning processes within an MRP environment.
• Advanced knowledge and use of MRP systems; experience with JDA is a plus.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel skills preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with basic negotiation and influence abilities.
