Glanbia has embarked on an exciting transformation journey encompassing strategy, organisation, processes, and technology to create a future ready organisation.
We have a requirement on our project team for a dynamic PMO Lead.
This is a pivotal role on the project leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a detailed plan to support transformational change across a number of workstreams. Critical to success will be the ability to work across all levels of the organisation and the development of strong working relationships with a range of internal stakeholders, business leadership and project teams.
This is a hybrid role, with an expectation that a consistent physical presence will be required in office (Citywest, Dublin or Kilkenny). This role can be hired on a daily-rate contractor basis. The role is required for 18 months with potential to extend.
Key elements of the role
- Provides overall Programme Management leadership.
- Develops and maintains integrated programme plan across internal and external providers. Accountable for the end-to-end oversight of programme delivery versus plan.
- Develops the programme governance model and charter.
- Primary host for key stakeholder meetings including Steering, TMO, Governance etc. Coordinate status reporting across all workstreams.
- Ensures smooth running of programme and alignment across workstreams in coordinated manner. Proactively manages cross-team risks, inter-dependencies and issue escalations.
- Resource management throughout programme lifecycle
- Change Control Management including scope management with external providers.
- Manage third-parties re deliverable status, prioritisation and budget.
The skills you will bring to the team
- 10-15 years’ experience of successfully managing complex projects involving significant business change including set-up, governance and reporting tools.
- Proven ability to build and lead integrated teams from internal and external organisations across multiple sites. Virtual and remote team leadership capability.
- Effective consultative and influencing approach. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and proven ability to work effectively at senior leadership levels. Cultural adaptability.
- Strong analysis, problem resolution, judgment and decision-making skills.
- Experience of managing and working collaboratively with a variety of consultancies.
- Experience in FMCG / Manufacturing environments, similar to Glanbia.
- The energy, enthusiasm and drive to make it happen.
Where and how you will work
The base location of the role will be our office in Citywest, Dublin 24 with hybrid working arrangements available.
