With a focus on our European Commercial Markets, the appointee will support some of the General Manager’s across all aspects of the people agenda.

This role will work with the business leaders to solve organisational challenges and target growth opportunities through people related solutions.

This is an end to end HR role, and the HR shared service functions are still in development, so this role requires the flexibility to drive the strategic agenda as well as the operational agenda.

 

Primary responsibilities for this role will include:

 

  • Partner with leaders from an organisational and talent perspective to drive results in supporting business growth, including organisational effectiveness, change management, culture and engagement, talent acquisition / planning / succession, learning and development, employee relations, rewards, recognition and data insights.
  • In partnership with the broader leadership team, provide strong leadership, coaching and development to team members; and identify opportunities to build critical capabilities.
  •  Partner with Global HR COEs (Talent, Total Rewards, Employee Relations) to implement key programs.
  •  Support the execution of the talent agenda for the markets, including succession plans, development plans for all High Potential talent, lateral / cross-functional moves and leadership capability needs
  • Build a strong pool of leaders with the skills, capabilities and behaviours critical to enabling sustainable growth and to deliver on regional strategy and priorities; critical role in providing leadership coaching and support to leaders and proactively addressing leadership opportunities.
  •  Support employee engagement across the relevant population in partnership with market leaders; leverage insights from a variety of employee listening forums to drive action planning relevant to the population; proactively identify and address issues and opportunities.
  • Partner with the teams to help develop a purpose driven, values led culture that enables high performance.

 

The skills and experience you will bring to the team

 

  • A track record of experience working in a fast paced, commercial environment through operating as a HRBP and the ability to be successful in a matrix organisation with multiple stakeholders
  • The agility and flexibility to adapt to a changing agenda over time, underpinned by the ability to create excitement for a long-term people strategy.
  • Proven track record of broad HR operational delivery including operational excellence, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance, change management, org re-design and reward.
  • A track record of providing coaching and mentoring support to stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in identifying innovative people solutions, and then deploying the solution.
  • Strong business acumen with ability to translate business and HR needs into action.
  • The ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills coupled with a high level of professionalism and a proven track record in influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Proven organisational skills with the ability to manage own work load.
  • Employee relations experience across geographies.
  • Previous international experience and European language skills are desirable.
