We are looking for a highly skilled and strategic Communications Manager to support Glanbia's transformation and business growth initiatives for the Health & Nutrition and Dairy Nutrition businesses. This fixed term contract opportunity role involves close collaboration with the Transformation Program office, the Change workstream and other functional workstreams as well as leaders and key stakeholders in both business units. This role will play a crucial part in crafting a strategic communications framework to embed both the new business model and the strategic communication priorities of both businesses.

The role will lead the planning and delivery of high-impact, results driven transformation and internal communications for the Health & Nutrition (H&N) and Dairy Nutrition (DN) businesses - ensuring employees are informed, engaged and aligned to business strategy, transformation priorities and cultural ambitions.

The role acts as a senior communications partner to divisional leadership teams, translating business and people strategies into clear, compelling employee communications, and building leader capability to communicate with clarity, confidence and consistency.

This person will be someone with a passion for our purpose, has strong internal communications capability and ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the business.

Key responsibilities

Internal communications strategy and planning

  • Develop and implement integrated internal communications plans for H&N and DN, aligned to transformation priorities, divisional strategies, people priorities and Group communications activity.
  • Provide strategic communications counsel to senior leaders on message framing and delivery. Draft a senior-level communications including town hall narratives, leadership updates, scripts, presentations and key talking points.
  • Lead internal communications for major initiatives including divisional leadership conferences, townhall meetings and HR programmes. Collaborate with People and Engagement teams on group initiatives including recognition, wellbeing, DE&I and continuous listening, ensuring a coherent and compelling narrative.

Employee engagement and culture

  • Ensure purpose, vision and values are consistently embedded across all internal communications activity.
  • Enable two-way communication by creating structured opportunities for listening, feedback and dialogue between leaders and employees.
  • Partner closely with divisional CEOs, leadership teams, HR and transformation leads to support employee engagement during periods of change.

Channels, content and delivery

  • Own and manage the internal communications calendar for H&N and DN, ensuring effective prioritisation and message clarity.

Stakeholder partnership and capability building

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with senior leaders, HRBPs, transformation teams and the wider communications network.
  • Contribute actively to the Group communications and engagement network, sharing best practice and supporting groupwide initiatives.

Measurement and continuous improvement

  • Track and evaluate the effectiveness of internal communications activity using quantitative and qualitative insights.
  • Use data, feedback and best practice to continuously refine approaches and improve employee understanding and engagement.

The skills you will bring to the team

  • Degree in Communications, Business, HR or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • 5-8 years’ experience in internal communications, employee engagement or change communications within a large, complex or global organisation. Experience in manufacturing a plus.
  • Proven experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing at executive level. Credible, trusted advisor who operates with integrity, discretion and sound judgement.
  • Strong track record of delivering communications that support business strategy, transformation and cultural change and deliver measurable results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging messages.
  • Demonstrated change communications capability, including stakeholder analysis, communications planning and behavioural change support.
  • Strategic and analytical thinker with strong execution focus.
