The Opportunity

Working with Optimum Nutrition the worlds number 1 Sport Nutrition brand and SlimFast the UK’s leading weight management brand you will be joining a business that is committed to bringing high-quality, innovative products to help customers achieve their health and fitness goals.
Responsibilities
- Sales and revenue growth – Responsible for delivering top and bottom line channel P&L via growing new business and unlocking new opportunities.
- Lead and develop Channel Specific Strategies – Ownership of channel strategy and engagement with other controllers to ensure strategy works within wider UK strategy
- Cross Function Collaboration
- Team Leadership & Development- Lead, develop and inspire the team and a role model for the wider UK commercial team demonstrating Glanbia core values.
- UK Sales Team Leadership- Role will sit on UK Sales LT, so play a pivotal role in shaping the wider UK Commercial Strategy
- Customer Engagement – Nurture current relationships and build new relationships across both customers, but also trade bodies and relevant agencies.
The Skills you will bring to the team
- Proven track record of managing multiple accounts within the UK market. demonstrating revenue and/or profit growth.
- Experience or exposure to multi-functional teams, (RGM, Cat Dev, Shopper, Marketing).
- Leadership: able to inspire the multifunctional team (sales, marketing, supply) behind the external opportunity, and then engage, energize and enable the team to execute the plan.
- Strong relationship builder: able to deliver with and through other experts and collaborate multifunctionally.
- Adaptable: able to manage ambiguity and lead in a constantly changing environment
