The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Revenue Growth Manager to drive RGM analytics across pricing, assortment, promotion and trade, plus derive insights to support RGM strategy-setting. This role will facilitate inter-department communication and sharing of best practices.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead core pricing (e.g., brand ladders, pack price curves), assortment, and promotional analytics across channels and key accounts, including sharing out summary reports and scorecards in regular reviews
- Analyze market trends and create associated reports for key brands and pack sizes
- Analyze product volume, margin and competitive prices to provide recommendations
- Provide fact base to assist in determining pricing guidelines on brand/pack/channel level
- Build and update pricing & assortment guidelines
- Run analytics to measure trade spend efficiency (e.g., incremental margin or growth per dollar invested in a given account) and make recommended changes
- Develop promo event-level guidelines and work with Sales to develop ROI-informed promotional calendars/plans
- Maintain promo effectiveness scorecards
- Monitor and provide consolidated view of competitor activities
- Partner with Sales & Marketing to develop customer sell-in stories when needed
- Assess value chains across channels
- Business cases for Retailer Investments, RTM, and new market expansions
- Assist in continued education of RGM principles with cross-functional business partners
The Skills you will bring to the team:
- Significant Sales/Finance/Strategy experience, previous RGA experience preferred and would be a huge plus
- Strong analytics background with leadership potential
- Managerial skills – ability to collaborate cross-functionally and feed the functions with market trends
- Communication skills – advanced writing and communication skills, and be able to interact with and persuade individuals senior to him or her, as well as actively participate in meetings and group discussions with individuals from various parts of the organization (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Finance)
- Analytical skills – ability to follow detailed instructions to perform complicated financial analyses, as well as determine basic analyses required to support pricing decisions (e.g., structure the problem, collect data, identify issues and present results)
- Computer skills – advanced knowledge of Excel, Tableau, and PowerPoint is required
