Channel Manager – Exports & New Business

The Opportunity
Glanbia Performance Nutrition, India, is seeking an experienced professional to lead export management for South Asian countries (excluding India) and develop new business opportunities in offline channels across India and the rest of South Asia. This role will focus on managing distributor networks, identifying growth opportunities, and implementing strategies to enhance market presence and profitability. The candidate will be responsible for developing growth strategies based on market insights and consumer trends, particularly in the sports nutrition category, while managing export policies and distributor relations.
Key Responsibilities
Exports (Rest of South Asia Region)
- Manage export business for South Asian countries (Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Maldives, Duty-free chains).
- Develop channel strategies for distributors’ retail, wholesale, and online businesses.
- Influence distributors to expand their import portfolios in alignment with channel strategies.
- Design value chains for new opportunities and work closely with the finance team.
- Identify and assess new market opportunities and entry strategies for offline sub-channels.
New Business Development ( Both India & Rest of South Asia )
- Lead strategy and execution of new offline business channels.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, creating strategic and operational business plans.
- Build route-to-market for new business networks and evaluate learnings during the incubation phase.
- Provide monthly reports on results and activities.
The skills you will bring to the team
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree, MBA a distinct advantage.
- 12-15 years of experience in FMCG sales and business development, preferably in Consumer Health and Sports Nutrition.
- Proven track record of profitable sales growth in General Trade (GT) and Modern Trade (MT).
- Strong understanding of export management and distributor network expansion.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and drive projects from the ground up.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills.

The opportunity will be based in our office based in Gurgaon, India with a requirement to work in the office a minimum of 3 days per week
