S/4 HANA Senior Finance Business Analyst
An opportunity has arisen for a S/4 HANA Senior Finance Business Analyst within Glanbia Enterprise Solutions. This role will be based in Kilkenny, Ireland or CityWest, Dublin, with a hybrid working arrangement available through our Smart Working model, offering greater flexibility and work-life balance. The successful candidate will report to the a Product Owner within our Digital Finance Team and will be voice of technical expertise in the team while interacting with the rest of the Glanbia business.
Key Elements of the Role
Lead end-to-end implementation and enhancement of SAP FI/CO solutions and related Finance systems.
Own design decisions for one or more core finance processes such as:
- Record-to-Report (R2R): GL, journals, allocations, intercompany, close, consolidation integration.
- Order-to-Cash (O2C): customer accounting, revenue recognition touchpoints, credit management integration (as applicable).
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P): vendor accounting, invoice processing, payments, withholding taxes, approvals integration.
- Asset Accounting (AA): capitalization, depreciation, transfers, retirements, integration with procurement
- Controlling (CO): Margin analysis, profitability reporting, product costing, allocations optimization.
- S/4 HANA transformation: Fiori, simplification items, parallel accounting.
Translate business requirements into scope documents, blueprints, functional specifications and collaborate with programming teams for enhancements, forms, interfaces, workflows, and reports.
What background and experience are we looking for?
- At least 10 year’s SAP implementation and configuration experience with multiple lifecycle implementations
- Ideally a Qualified Accountant with relevant Finance process knowledge & experience.
- Strong expertise across the SAP finance domain: FI (GL/AP/AR/AA) and CO (CCA/PCA/IO/COPA, allocations) in either SAP ECC or S/4 HANA.
- Basic ABAP coding knowledge, while not essential would be an advantage.
