Principal Accountabilities 

Marketing Strategy

  • Responsibility to drive brand activities including the day to day management of Creative, Influencers, Media and Trade Marketing to ensure the highest standard of communication and timely execution across multiple platforms in line with the brand plan and brand guidelines.
  • Execute consumer marketing launch plans for assigned projects on product innovations, product re-launches or category thematic campaigns in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Lead the gym sampling and integration program and execution with the support of KOL & Influencer Specialist.
  • Work on the launch of globally led NPD initiatives as identified e.g. New Flavour Launches 
  • Work with Country Manager to craft 3 year longer term brand marketing strategy 

 

Media & Communication Plan

  • Work closely with the Digital Agency and KOL & Sports Community Specialist to collaborate on the creation of branded creative, including paid and organic content.  
  • Work with Digital Agency and scheduling of organic content across various digital platforms where required. 
  • Follow up execution plan of A&P spend for product’s ATL & BTL communication, working with Media Agency to ensure timeliness.
  • Manage day-to-day relationship with agencies to deliver activity on time and on budget, write relevant and compelling media briefs.
  • Follow up point of contact for cross functional team on providing information, planning, task segregation for the campaigns.  
  • Follow up point of contact to manage external agencies/ business partners to meet the campaign deliverables.

 

Brand Image & Brand Standard

  • Check and ensure brand guidelines are executed without errors for all internal and external product brand communications.

 

Finance & Budgeting

  • Financial able to track and monitor A&P spending, recommend product pricing analysis and help out in budget planning process and budget reviews.
  • Management of marketing budgets within agreed targets and align with customer advertising activities.

 

Market Research

  • Execute and value add to research projects planned in support of line manager.
  • Analyze market and conduct consumer research in order to have a better understanding of sales trends and how consumer needs work in conjunction with the insights team 

 

Team Management

  • Work well in positive and mature manner with cross functional team to deliver business objective.
  • Self-initiative to own career development plan. 
  • Courage & actively give and seek for feedback from line manager and colleagues.

 

Others

  • Update Direct Line Manager on the status of the principle accountabilities on bases of internal and external information: market research for brand image, usage, market share.
  • Demonstrate the highly effective communication within the cross-function (with Sales team, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Regional Marketing, Finance) to ensure the highest business result achieved.
  • Complete standard monthly reporting templates as required by category assigned in timely and data accurate manner.
  • Shall be responsible for safe-keeping and updating the products artworks (hardcopy & Softcopy).


 

Skills, Know How and experience

  • Degree holder in Business/ Marketing/ Management/ Finance/ Economics/ Commerce.
  • At least 3 - 4 years Consumer Brand Marketing experience within the similar capacity of MNC FMCG environment preferred (Sports Category / Sports Nutrition / Fitness Industry a plus).
  • High fluency and comprehension (Oral & Written) in English – Plus point: Chinese and Malay languages.
  • Microsoft Excel & Power point Savvy.
  • Self-initiator and high level of self-accountability.
  • Effective planning, time management, presentation, negotiation, communication and project management.
  • Persuasive & effective communication cross functions.
  • High Problem-Solving Skill with an analytical mindset.
  • Has Entrepreneurship & Ownership with a high sense of emergency and able to thrives under pressure.
  • Positively motivated with a Can-do attitude.
  • High awareness and passion for today’s trends and news
