Sales Manager - Malaysia & Vietnam

Principal Accountabilities:

 

1.    Derive Business Strategy and Objective

•    Contribute to development of sales, marketing, customer retention, advertising, pricing, distribution strategies. 

 

2.    Customer Orientated 

•    Develop and maintain strategic business relationships with customers. 
•    Negotiate sales with existing and new customers who are of strategic importance to the organisation. 
•    Provide ongoing support to high value clients and ensure high quality customer service being delivered. 
•     Identify customer needs and opportunities by analysing sales gap & develop strategy to minimize or close gap. 
•    Serves as a liaison between clients and company departments. 
•    Familiar with outlet’s sales operation in terms of merchandising and ordering process 
•    Possess very detailed product knowledge as well as through knowledge of client business. 
•    Monitor business to adhere the company's business strategy. 

 

3.    Derive and implement business process.

•    Responsible for the total channel sales process, aiming at meeting and exceeding sales targets. 
•    Leading & Ensure all New Product Listings Listed on timely basis. 
•    Develop competencies and processes required to create effective and efficient sales organization. 
•    Meeting company Account Receivable objective by maintaining healthy aging level. 

 

4.    Enhance sales activities to ensure cost and process efficiency

•    Prepare sales forecasts and budgets; monitor sales volume, revenues, and costs against forecasts to identify problem areas; and adapt procedures or re-allocate resources to improve the overall performance of the sales team. 
•    Manage trade budget, trading term discussion within budget allocated. 
•    Ensure trade return rate within company’s objective, good market hygiene in the trade with FIFO practices. 
•    Maximizing ROI by evaluating incremental of sales and trade investment of each position monthly basis. 

 

5.    Obtain and alert with competitive knowledge on Market trend, movement and practise

•    Keep abreast with latest market trends and development, with sound knowledge of competitors' activities. 
•    Maintain competitive knowledge to create and adjust sales strategies. 
•    Proactively identify changes in Sports Nutrition Industry, delivery systems, competitive pressures to develop and modify strategies and tactics accordingly.

 


The Skills you will bring to the team:
•    Bachelor degree or higher in business development or other related fields.
•    At least 5 years’ experience in key account management in FMCG or Pharmacy Channel.
•    Analytical, strong business acumen, negotiation, customer-oriented, presentation, result-driven 
•    Computer literacy in MS Office 
•    Good command in English both spoken and written – Plus point: Chinese and Malay languages.
•    Self-initiator and high level of self-accountability.
•    Has Entrepreneurship & Ownership with a high sense of emergency and able to thrives under pressure.
•    Positively motivated with a Can-do attitude.
